- Lead and guide clinical activities, including but not limited to patient assessments, management of care plans, home evaluations, medication management, and other patient services
- Ensure that federal, state, and local laws, as well as professional standards and principles in the nursing profession, are respected and comprehended; communicate and reinforce company policies and procedures
- Provide direct supervision and support for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Health Aides (HHA), and Companion Caregivers
- Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and other care professionals surrounding the client, to ensure the highest quality of care is given; conduct client assessments to assess client needs, communicate needs to the family members and Touching Hearts care staff
- Co-conduct clinical training for Touching Hearts care staff, as mandated for compliance; assist with the development of continued education for caregiver teams
- Assist with clinical and caregiver annual performance evaluations
- Maintain accurate departmental and staffing records for reporting
- Manage clinical on-call responsibilities to support Touching Hearts care staff and clients; maintain clinical teams on-call schedule
- Operational tasks to further the success and support of Touching Hearts caregiving teams and clients
- Bachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing, required
- Current Minnesota licensure as a Registered Nurse and the ability to maintain licensure, required
- Five or more years of experience as a Director of Nursing or Nursing Field Manager, required
- Valid Minnesota Driver's License and reliable vehicle, required
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Google programs, required
- Familiarity with Dropbox and Adobe Acrobat, preferred
- Experience using ClearCare, is a plus
- Knowledge of how to use various technology platforms, required
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication, required
- Knowledgeable in using discretion with confidential information, required
- An in-depth understanding of diverse business functions and principles, required
